Children's Book Review: The Crew Goes Coconuts By Carole P Roman

THE CREW GOES COCONUTS
A Captain No Beard Story
Volume 6

This is my first Captain No Beard story and I am "Hooked".  These are highly engaging, funny, and well-written stories featuring a wonderful child's imagination.  Each story has a message and this particular one deals with bullying.

All the animals are ganging up on Matie the goat because she is different.  They find ways to point out her different looks and the animals get everyone to join in with picking on her.  Matie becomes very upset until Captain No Beard has just the idea to shine the light on everyone's differences.

Children will find the illustrations engaging and the animals funny.  These books will also encourage your child to have a vivid imagination and maybe even create their own Captain No Beard scenarios. To see all the books in the Captain No Beard series, click HERE.
